  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 80g Président slightly-salted butter
  • 5cl olive oil
  • table salt, ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut them into uniform slices using a mandolin slicer.

Step 2

Season with ground nutmeg, table salt and ground pepper.

Step 3

In the meantime, bring the milk to the boil in a pan with half the Président Camembert cut into small pieces.

Step 4

Leave to cool then stir as you add the egg.

Step 5

Peel the garlic, then rub it around the inside of your dish.

Step 6

Arrange the potato slices in even layers, pour the infused milk over the top and sprinkle with some small knobs of Président slightly-salted butter.

Step 7

Cook in the oven, preheated to 180°, for between 30 and 40 minutes.

Step 8

While this cooks, slice your burger buns in half and lightly brown them.

Step 9

When you are ready to serve, put a generous portion of the potato and then a burger (which you will already have cooked in a non-stick pan) on the bottom half of each bun.

Step 10

Add some slices of Président Camembert and grill for 1 minute until the cheese starts to melt.
