Président Camembert and Pear Cupcake

Ingredients

  • 125g Président Camembert
  • 80g grated Président Emmental
  • 100g flour
  • ½ sachet baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 3cl walnut oil
  • 7cl milk
  • 8 small pears in syrup
  • Table salt, ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, stir together the flour and baking powder.

Step 2

Add one of the eggs, the milk and the oil.

Step 3

Finish off with the grated Président Emmental.

Step 4

Remove the rind from the Président Camembert and melt slowly in a bain-marie.

Step 5

Add the melted Camembert to the mixture.

Step 6

Stir until it forms a smooth mixture.

Step 7

Season with table salt and ground pepper.

Step 8

In the meantime, cut up the pears into small cubes and fold into the mixture.

Step 9

Stir to make sure the cubes are evenly distributed.

Step 10

Preheat the oven to 180°.

Step 11

Fill the little cases ¾ full.

Step 12

Decorate with the tops of the pears and cook for around 20 minutes.

Step 13

Serve at room temperature.
